A Destination perched on the Hilltop
Located on a hilltop in Tengnoupal of Chandel district, Gaby’s is loved for its natural yet comfortable experience. One can relax and indulge in the luxurious treat of its Japanese theme garden known to flaunt its mini waterfall located within the garden. The luxurious view of the pristine Kabaw Valley from it’s garden railing is a must for every vistor! Do indulge in a cup of chai or coffee while you are there! Nothing can beat it’s picture perfect scene and cup of pipping hot tea! ;). Beneath that is the alluring Tuisokot Vadung (a river) where one can just unwind and jump in.
The nearest village to Gaby’s is Chahmol village with a population of over 300 people (just in case somebody wants to do a little tour).
Food is not a problem here. Gabys serve a range of South Indian, Chinese, and local cuisines at a reasonable price. With two experienced chef station in the resort itself, you can rest assure that you get to eat the best even during your escape into the hills.
Luxurious Rooms at Reasonable Prices
Gaby’s Cafe has two cottages furnished with a traditional look with its thatch roof, large window glasses, wooden floor, a large balcony that makes you feel closer to nature, but at the same time equipped with all necessary modern facilities with a reasonable price of just 2500-3500 Indian rupees per night.
Simon Lunkim, a young Master in social work is managing the resort. Humble and soft-spoken by nature, a guest can always approach him for any queries concerning the resort.
Gabys café was established by the sisters of Clay Khongsai and others family members.
